THE L KIDNAPPING - TRANSCRIPTS

Hey doods!

For those of you who have been absent from DNI in a while, just last week we had a crisis where L had been kidnapped by an unknown assailant. He was abandoned in an unknown DA chatroom, walking around dazed with only partial memories.

We held a DNI game to help locate him and was the winner (found him first)! Congratulations luv!

Sadly, this has left L with only partial memories, but it seems like he's coming around. :3 Please visit his page to wish him well.

INTERVIEW WITH L - NEXT WEEK!

Hey again doods!

Well, I got some uber cool news this time around! :3

=hella-toes is hosting a special club event for all members:

Interview with a new Death Note character every week!

We will be conducting interviews with the following guys:
L, Light, Mello, Near, and Matt.

First up next week: Interview With The One and Only, L

The L Interview will be held next Sunday, the 16th, at 6pm (pasific time - west coast).

Here's how the event will work:

For now up to the 16th, ~thefluffyshrimp will be accepting questions to L from all hella-toes members!

About 10 of the submitted questions will be chosen randomly and then asked to L by the interviewer.

L will also be interviewed by two honored guests, the famous and !!

These well known DN fan artists will be drawing their favorite part/s of the interview with L for us to submit to the club for our members to enjoy. :3

This means that if your question to L is chosen for the interview, you could not only hear his response, but see it in fanart.

The interview will be held in a chatroom here on DA. ALL MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND! However, only the interview moderator (me) and our two honored guests will be permitted to speak with him directly. Sorry, I have to do this or poor L would be bombarded with fangirls yammering at him.

(The chat will be set so that all guests entering can't speak, but will be able to watch the interview in real time and see if their question is chosen and answered by L. It should be a lot of fun. )

After the interview with L is over, we will post it on with the fanarts by our honored guests.

Remember: Make sure you send your questions to L to and not hella-toes! I am in charge of the interview, so the questions have to go through me.

We will then prepare for the next interviews with either Light, Mello, Near, or Matt. Once again, we are hosting a new interview with a different DN character each week from now! :3

LOOKING FOR EXPERT DEATH NOTE FANS!

Hey again doods!

Finally, some club related information.

is currently looking for fans who are very knowledgeable about the following Death Note characters (you only need to be an expert on 1 of the 4, not all):

1) Light/Raito
2) Mello
3) Near
4) Matt

You must be confident in your knowledge of the character and even in your ability to act like him. I want people who know the character inside and out: his history, his bio, his personality, etc.

We will be needing these fans to help with a project for =hella-toes. I can't tell you what it's about, since it's a surprise at this point.

If you know a lot about 1 or all of these characters and would like to be part of our project, please note ~thefluffyshrimp and tell me which character/s you are an expert on. I'm expecting heavy volume, so if I don't note you back right away, be patient. I will post a follow-up journal saying when our DN experts have been found.

Where to Order L/Death Note Stuff From Japan

Hey again doods!

Since I've been posting links to all things Death Note lately, I've had people noting me asking me where to get some of this stuff (like Nindendo Games, Movies, or Collectors Cards and stuff).

Rinkya.com is a site that lets you buy stuff from "Yahoo Japan Auction" (like Japanese eBay) in English. Normally, the sellers in Japan will not ship to the US (plus, you can't communicate with them since most of them speak Japanese only). Rinkya will basically bid on the items for you, have them shipped to a warehouse in Japan, and then ship all the items to you in your country when you are ready. For this they charge a "middleman" fee, but it's well worth it if you want to get rare stuff.

Death Note Trading Card Games

Hey again doods!

Well, in my last installment of the Death Note Japanese Games month (XD), I got some information on the DN Card Game. Unlike the video games, you don't need to know Japanese to enjoy these since they're mostly fun for the arts or "collecting value" anyways.
