Death Note TEA PARTY! - 7 Minutes in Heaven with L

Hey doods!

Well DeathNoteInterview's 1 YEAR BIRTHDAY was....last March. lol. But we couldn't throw a party then because most of the club staff was in school at that time. XD

In all the time that we've been running, I am happy to report that =hella-toes is currently the LARGEST Death Note club on all of DA with a whopping 4,265 members! And DeathNoteInterview is the LARGEST Death Note chatroom on all of DA. Thank you to all of our club members. We couldn't have done any of this without you.

(If you were wondering, =hella-toes wins for most members, *LxLight wins for most page visits, =DeathNotefan wins for oldest club still on DA, and DeathNoteInterview wins for most popular chatroom. )

So THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 7th at 5pm (Pacific Time, West Coast, California, USA) DNI will be hosting a Death Note Tea Party to thank all our club members.



This will be one of the only days in which the Death Note characters will get to experience some sincere (but drunk) yaoi action.

Basically, we're spiking the tea for the DNG and letting you watch. So come on into the chat and see the fun.

(Note: As a result, the DNI Tea Party will be a somewhat "girl oriented." Sorry to our male club members. However, the following information will be enjoyable for our male members as well. )

Well I have some SUPER AWESOME news today!

Starting today (Saturday, April 25th) and lasting for about 4 weeks the Death Note Characters will be returning to our chatroom, DeathNoteInterview, as part of "Hella-Toes Promo Month!"

Come into DeathNoteInterview right now to chat with...



(Note: If you don't see the Death Note Characters on while in the chatroom at the moment, don't worry. They will be on later in the day. )

Unlike the official interviews, club members will not be silenced in the chat while the DN Characters answer questions.

Also unlike the official interviews, the Death Note Characters won't be appearing in the chatroom at any specific time. They will just randomly be coming into the chat to talk with visitors and get asked questions. This should make it more interesting for visitors. Come on into DNI and try to catch L and the others while they are online.

I have also been informed that and may be coming into DeathNoteInterview sometime this week to chat with us.

If you guys are wondering what happened to the DNI Art Contest, it turns out we didn't get enough entries to use.

=hella-toes is still looking for art we can add to the Death Note Interviews. We are asking members to draw scenes or topics from any of the Death Note Interviews and we will use them as illustrations for the deviations (for all our members to see).

We already have An Illustration For the Matt Interview (Page 1), thanks to ~leatherfeathers

There is now no deadline to submit art for the Death Note Interviews. We'll just upload each submission as we receive them (until all the interviews have illustrations). So please start sending us some more images, guys!

DESIGN THE DEATH NOTE INTERVIEWS

Heeeeey guys!

Well, it certainly has been a long time since we've had one of these.

But yes, is having a CONTEST!

So here's what's up: I've been noticing =hella-toes, while awesome in content, seems pretty gray and sad looking compared to other clubs. So we're looking for people to help add style and arts to it to spruce it up a bit.


ABOUT THE CONTEST:

Contest date and times. The contest starts today, Friday, December 19, 2008 and the last day to submit entries is Friday, January 2, 2009 DON'T FORGET!

To enter the contest, please submit deviations by sending a note to =hella-toes with links to your deviations. Make sure to title the note something about the contest.

For this contest, you MAY SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE DEVIATION!

As explained below, THERE WILL BE 21 WINNERS! So while I can't guarantee it, your chances of winning this contest if you enter are pretty high.

According to DA, the image must be a JPEG or PNG of any size or a GIF not exceeding 150x150 pixels.

WHAT WE NEED:

Illustrations for the Death Note Interviews.

Right now when you click on the DNIs they look so wordy and sad.
Not at all like what what they're about. XD
So I was thinking of adding some illustrations to them (kind of like how children books have pictures in them that depict the story).

This makes a great contest because there are SO MANY DNIs we need to illustrate , that each person has a high chance of winning. We need an illustration for each submission. This means we'll need a different illustration for the L Interview Page 1, Page 2, Page 3, and Page 4, and that goes for all the rest of the interviews.

Therefore we need 4 illustrations for the L Interview, 3 illustrations for the Light Interview, 1 illustration for the Kira interview, 3 illustrations for the Mello and Near Interview, 3 illustrations for the Matt Interview, 3 illustrations for the Mikami, Misa, and Matsuda Interview, 3 illustrations for the Beyond Birthday Interview (with Ryuk, Rem, and Watari), and 1 illustration for the Yaoi Finale (that took place at the end of the BB Interview).


[....despite the content, please don't make the Yaoi Finale illustration too perverted or DA will ban our asses. ]

In other words, you have 21 chances to win.

What the illustrations need to be about:

The illustrations for each Death Note Interview needs to be about either:

Something that happened DURING the interview

Or something that the characters' REVEALED during the interview

(As in, L revealed he saw Raito in the shower once. You can draw a depiction what he said about that for example.)

What you win:

If your image wins, it will forever be embedded in one of the Death Note Interviews as the official artwork for all to view every time they read it. You will of course get credit for your submission and people will be linked to the original deviation on your page.
