Rinkya.com is a website that allows you to buy items from "Yahoo Japan Auction" (like the eBay of Japan). The website has a feature that will translate all Japanese in the auctions into English.
Normally, the sellers in Japan will not ship internationally. Plus, communicating with them can be difficult since most of them speak Japanese only.
To solve this problem, Rinkya.com will basically bid on your desired items for you, have them shipped to a storage warehouse in Japan, and then ship all the items to you in your country when you are ready (after you have purchased all the items you want). For this they charge a "middleman" fee, but it's well worth it if you want to get rare stuff.
(Note: I cannot guarantee that the video games or DVDs that you order from Japan will work on Western game or video systems. Sorry)
Rinkya.com will also help you buy items from other sites that are in Japanese only, such as Mekke.
If you are interested in general items from Japan, this website is fantastic. Check out "Japanese Snacks," "Bento Accessories", "Wacky things," and "Anime & Toys."
[Note: J-List will sometimes not allow direct links to their website, so you may have to visit jlist.com on your own. ]

Well that's because it's a wholesale site, so you MAY have to purchase more than one item at a time. Make certain you see how many you're ordering before purchase. lol
However, other than that the site seems credible. They may indeed sell off individual items that don't mix well with the rest of their wholesale batches for really cheap.

To read the manga, check out our club directory (the link directory on the main page) and click "Multimedia > Manga." You should find it there.
Just tell me if you still can't find it.

Mainly a wholesaler, but they seem to also sell a lot of individual items.
Very rare, unusual, and cute items for very cheap prices!
More really unique items.
And of course, nothing beats a good old-fashioned search for "Death Note" on eBay. lol.
